Fondue Dance
On November 2, we welcomed many guests to our Annual Fondue Dance at the Slovenian Canadian Club of Calgary. Everyone enjoyed delicious fondue followed by some high-spirited dancing to the tunes of a new DJ, Hurricane Hollywood.
Although we attempted to share our new line dance with the crowd, we couldn’t quite get our footwork right! Maybe next year!

Christmas Party
We gathered together at the Austrian Canadian Cultural Centre on December 17 to enjoy a delicious meal and fun gift exchange to celebrate Christmas.
Every year, each club member brings a small gift and Helga comes up with a fun way to exchange them. This year, Helga handed the gifts out at random as though we would get the one given to us and then, last minute, she had us exchange them with our dance partner! Our Christmas parties are always a fun time of friendship and celebration.
